Launch Night Draws Large Audience

On January 26, 2012 more than 500 students, teachers, adminstrators and friends attended the latest edition of AppleSeed at South Lawrence East School. Every elementary school (grades 3, 4, 5) in Andover, Lawrence, North Andover and Methuen was represented. Students attended the launch night with their family and friend, which was held simultaneously in the school's auditorium and cafeteria, more than 250 people at each venue. The students read their submissions with pride and received warm applause. The evening concluded with a photo session and reception. Special thanks to the South Lawrence East for hosting this event. GLEC magazines require submission forms

Students who want to submit to AppleSeed (grades 3-5) and AppleSauce (grades 6-8) need to attach a GLEC submission form to their piece. These are available from the AppleSeed or AppleSauce advisor at your school.
