Swimming in the lake is always a great way to spend a hot summer day!A daily highlight for each of the students attending the Boxford site is swimming. This is a highly therapeutic, motivating and specialized activity that all students look forward to daily.
Special Events/Weekly Cookouts/Talent Show
Fun Friday activities include a visit from Curious Creatures. Each week, a special activity is planned prior to the start of summer programming. This activity supports the thematic units and curriculum planned by the educational staff. Some of the weekly events were Pets, Farm Animals, Rain Forest Animals, Ocean Animals and Desert/Artic Animals. We also enjoy a special “Breakfast Day” which is always a highlight of the student and staff’s summer. Other special activities included Curious Creatures, Sing-a-Longs and Talent Show.
Weekly cookouts are held each Friday after the special event/activity at both sites. Students in each cabin plan for either the salads or desserts to be shared with all participants.
SteppingStone Talent Show - Pathways presents "Who Let the Dogs Out?"The grand finale of the summer session includes “The Talent Show” where families and friends are invited to spend the day in Boxford. Families are invited to swim at the waterfront, enjoy a cookout with their child and watch their child’s cabin present at our annual Talent Show. This is always a fun filled, special day that highlights each of the student’s special talent and skills.
